This year, the ceremony is set to be an extraordinary confluence of Maharashtra’s most celebrated cultural figures, at the hands of Hon. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, in the esteemed presence of Hon. Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Hon. Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, and an array of dignitaries including Hon. Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar, Hon. In a spectacular first, the State Government will bestow both the 58th and 59th Maharashtra State Film Awards simultaneously. The evening will shimmer with the radiance of two titans of Indian cinema: veteran actor Shivaji Satam, who will receive the Chitrapati V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his indelible contribution to the silver screen. Alongside him, the luminous Asha Parekh, a name synonymous with grace and enduring talent, will be honored with the Late Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award. These accolades, accompanied by significant cash prizes, citations, and exquisitely crafted trophies, are not just awards, but emblems of a life lived in relentless pursuit of artistic excellence.
The evening will also pay homage to the architects of storytelling—writer-director-actor Digpal Lanjekar will be lauded with the Chitrapati V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award, while the Late Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award will be presented to the multifaceted N. Chandra, whose vision has left an indelible mark on Indian cinema.

Adding to the symphony of recognition, the ethereal voice of Anuradha Paudwal will be celebrated with the Lata Mangeshkar Award for 2024, a fitting tribute to a singer whose melodies have woven themselves into the cultural fabric of the nation. Actress Rohini Hattangadi will also be honored, along with Singer Sudesh Bhosle, for their contributions to cinema and music, their influence echoing through the hall, a testament to their enduring impact.

मुंबई- मराठी चित्रपटसृष्टीसाठी अत्यंत महत्त्वाचा  आणि मानाचा समजला जाणारा राज्य शासनाचा मराठी चित्रपट पुरस्कार सोहळा यंदा वरळीच्या डोम एसव्हीपी स्टेडियममध्ये २१ ऑगस्ट रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आलेला आहे.

राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांच्या शुभहस्ते तसेच उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस, उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, विधानसभा अध्यक्ष राहुल नार्वेकर, सांस्कृतिक कार्य मंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार, शालेय शिक्षण मंत्री दीपक केसरकर, कौशल्य रोजगार मंत्री मंगलप्रभात लोढा, विधानपरिषदेच्या उपसभापती नीलम गोऱ्हे आणि सिद्धिविनायक ट्रस्टचे सदा सरवणकर यांच्या प्रमुख उपस्थितीत पुरस्कार प्रदान केले जाणार आहेत.
शासनामार्फत ५८ आणि ५९ वा राज्य मराठी चित्रपट पुरस्कार यंदा एकाच वेळी प्रदान केले जाणार आहेत. त्याचबरोबर २०२३ मधील चित्रपती व्ही. शांताराम जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार (१० लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह) जेष्ठ अभिनेते शिवाजी साटम यांना तर  स्व. राज कपूर जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार ( १० लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह) जेष्ठ अभिनेत्री आशा पारेख यांना या पुरस्कार सोहोळ्यात प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.
यासोबतच, २०२३ चा चित्रपती व्ही. शांताराम विशेष योगदान पुरस्कार (६ लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह)  लेखक-दिग्दर्शक, अभिनेते दिग्पाल लांजेकर यांना तर  स्व.राज कपूर विशेष योगदान पुरस्कार (६ लाख रुपये, मानपत्र आणि मानचिन्ह)  जेष्ठ लेखक- दिग्दर्शक-संकलक एन.चंद्रा यांना प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहे.
यासोबतच गानसम्राज्ञी लता मंगेशकर पुरस्कार २०२४ प्रख्यात गायिका अनुराधा पौडवाल यांना प्रदान करण्यात येणार असून प्रख्यात अभिनेत्री रोहिणी हट्टगंडी यांना चित्रपटांसाठी राज्य सांस्कृतिक पुरस्कार २०२४ आणि कंठसंगीतासाठी प्रख्यात गायक सुदेश भोसले यांना सन्मानित करण्यात येणार आहे.

NOIDA:  In a significant development, H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to India, has been appointed as the Patron of the Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum. This prestigious position was conferred upon him in a ceremony held at Marwah Studios, reflecting a new chapter in the cultural and diplomatic relations between India and Malaysia.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment. “The Indo Malaysia Film and Cultural Forum will gain new energy and guidance under the leadership of H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa. We are confident that this collaboration will significantly enhance the cultural and educational ties between our two nations,” said Dr. Marwah. Prior to his current role, H.E. Dato Muzafar Shah Mustafa served as the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Mexico, with concurrent accreditation to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras. He also held the position of Ambassador of Malaysia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, concurrently accredited to Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Additionally, he has served as the Undersecretary, Finance Division, MFA, and Deputy Chief of Protocol (Privileges and Immunities) in the Protocol and Consular Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

मौसम फिल्म्स प्रोडूसशन हाउस एंड अनुजा एंटरटेनमेंट प्रा. लि. प्रेजेंट्स हिंदी और नेपाली फिल्म देववाणी का टीजर रिलीज हो चुका है। शुजाय म्यूजिक वर्ल्ड से देववाणी का धांसू और खतरनाक टीजर रिलीज किया गया है। इस देववाणी में कुंदन भारद्वाज, सुनील थापा, अनुजा लेपचा, देव सिंह, रविन्द्र झा, धुर्वा कोइराला, मौसम पौडेल सहित कई कलाकार हैं। जो अपने अपने अभिनय से फिल्म के टीजर में जान फूंकते नजर आ रहे हैं। फिल्म के टीजर की शुरुआत में कुंदन की आवाज में एक छोटा ही सही मगर पॉवर फुल डायलॉग सुनाई देता है। जिसमें वो कहते है कि ये मेरा गांव है और यहां हर लोगों की रक्षा करना मेरा धर्म है। वही इसमें अभिनेत्री अनुजा लेपचा की भी छोटी सी झलक देखने को मिली है। वही इस टीजर में कुन्दन भारद्वाज साउथ और हॉलीवुड स्टाइल का एक्शन करते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं। उनके दमदार एक्शन सीन टीजर को और भी भव्य बना दे रहे हैं। इसके साथ ही टीजर में सुनील थापा भी अपनी सशक्त भूमिका से दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध करते नजर आए हैं। ओवर आल अगर टीजर की बात की जाए तो ये टीजर आपको एक्शन से भरपूर नजर आएगा।

हालही में देववाणी का पोस्टर में कुंदन और सुनील थापा  गुस्सेल मूड में नजर आ रहे हैं। देव वाणी को पेन इंडिया लेवल पर रिलीज करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। इस फिल्म में टीवी, भोजपुरी और बॉलीवुड अभिनेता कुंदन भारद्वाज  केंद्रीय भूमिका में नजर आने वाले हैं। इस फिल्म के साथ अभिनेत्री अनुजा लेपचा अपने डेब्यू करने जा रही है। फिल्म के निर्देशन की कमान निर्देशक बाबू साहब बलामी ने संभाल रखी है। वही फ़िल्म का निर्माण निर्माता मीना खड़का एंड हीरा बहादुर लेपचा के द्वारा किया गया है। इस फिल्म में भोजपुरी, नेपाली और बॉलीवुड फिल्मों में अपने अभिनय का जौहर मनवा चुके दिग्गज अभिनेता सुनील थापा भी दमदार किरदार निभाते हुए नजर आएंगे।

फिल्म देव वाणी को लेकर अभिनेता कुंदन भारद्वाज ने कहा कि हमने देववाणी का टीजर रिलीज कर दिया है। जिससे दर्शकों का भरपूर प्यार और आशीर्वाद मिल रहा है। वही देववाणी के रिलीज की तैयार भी जोरो शोरो से चल रही है।

फिल्म की कहानी एक गरीबों के मसीहा की है, जो एक शहर के लोगों को जुल्मी दरिंदे के खौफ से आज़ाद करता है। इस फिल्म के माध्यम से हम एक सोशल संदेश भी दे रहे हैं। जिससे समाज में जागरूकता फैलेगी। फिल्म में आपको एक्शन और रोमांस का तगड़ा डोस मिलने वाला है।

निर्देशक बाबू साहब बलामी ने कहा कि आज फिल्म का टीजर रिलीज कर दिया गया है। जिसमें हमने फिल्म के सभी कलाकारों को प्राथमिकता देने की कोशिश की है। वही टीजर देखकर आपको इतना न तो समझ आ ही गया होगा कि ये फिल्म एक अलग कहानी पर बेस्ड है जो दर्शकों को एक पल के लिए भी पल झपकने नहीं देंगी। हमें उम्मीद है ये फिल्म दर्शकों के मन मे एक अमिट छाप छोड़ने में कामयाब होगी।

फिल्म के पीआरओ ब्रजेश मेहर ने कहा कि ये फिल्म दो भाषाओं में बनी है। फ़िल्म आपको उच्च कोटि की कहानी देखने को मिलेगी जो आपने पहले कभी देखी नहीं होगी। फ़िल्म के टीजर ने ये साबित कर दिया है कि आज भी कई निर्देशक कहानी के साथ समझौता नहीं करते हैं।

फिल्म को हमने हिंदी और नेपाली भाषा में शूट किया है। जिसमें हम कई दिक्कतों का सामना भी करना पड़ा है लेकिन जो आउटपुट निकल कर सामने आया है उसे देखकर हर टेक्नीशियन के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई। फिल्म में आपको अवल दर्जे का इमोशन, एक्शन और ड्रामा देखने को मिलने वाला है।

निर्माता मीना खड़का और हीरा बहादुर लेपचा ने कहा कि जब हमसे इस फिल्म को बनाने के लिए बात की गई तो हमने पहले इसकी कहानी को सुना। कहानी सुनते सुनते हमारी आंखों में अंशु आ गया। क्योंकि में जो इमोशन है वो हर किसी रुला देगा। वही फिल्म में कुंदन, सुनील और देव की जबरदस्त एक्शन देखने को मिलेगा।

मुम्बई। एमके फिल्म एंड टेलीविजन प्रोडक्शन के बैनर तले निर्मित की जा रही निर्देशक एम आर खान की वेब सीरीज “सुन” एवं “जिसकी लाठी उसकी भैंस” के पोस्टर मुम्बई के इम्पा थिएटर में लांच किए गए। दोनों सीरीज के प्रोमो स्क्रीन पर दिखाए गए जहां सभी ने प्रोमो और इसके कॉन्सेप्ट को पसन्द किया। मुम्बई के पूर्व एसीपी संजय पाटिल इस कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि थे। साथ ही निर्माता एमके राजपूत और दिनेश के ढाबी की उपस्थिति भी दर्ज की गई।

In a chilling exposé of a deeply entrenched practice within certain Muslim communities, filmmaker and writer Neeraj Singh is set to release a short film ” The Female Khatna” that sheds light on the harrowing reality of female circumcision, also known as Khatna. This controversial practice, which involves the cutting of the private parts of young girls aged 9-10, is a stark reminder of the physical and mental anguish endured by countless women even today.

While many are aware of the male circumcision tradition within Muslim society, few realize that a similar ritual is inflicted upon young girls in certain communities. This practice is not only a violation of the body but also leaves deep psychological scars that persist throughout a woman’s life. Despite legal prohibitions and social condemnation, the practice continues in secrecy, upheld by religious leaders and community pressure.

Neeraj Singh, known for his bold storytelling and willingness to tackle sensitive issues, has spent extensive time researching the topic. He uncovered that the practice of female circumcision is particularly prevalent among the Dawoodi Bohra Muslim community. In this community, the ritual, referred to as Khafz, involves the removal of the clitoral hood and, in some cases, the entire external genitalia. The procedure is often carried out without anesthesia, leading to severe pain, trauma, and lifelong complications.

During his research, Neeraj spoke to numerous women who had undergone Khatna. These women, now in their 30s and 40s, shared their painful experiences with him, recounting the lasting impact on their physical and mental health. Many described how they continue to suffer during sexual intercourse, enduring the pain inflicted upon them in childhood. The stigma associated with not being circumcised further exacerbates their suffering, as uncircumcised women are often shunned within their communities and face difficulties in finding marriage partners.

Neeraj revealed that these women confided in him under the condition of anonymity, fearing retribution from their communities. They spoke of the immense social pressure to conform to this practice, with circumcised women being regarded as pure and virtuous, while those who escape the ritual are ostracized and deemed unworthy.

While the practice of female circumcision is not widespread across India, it continues to thrive in pockets of certain Muslim communities, particularly among the Dawoodi Bohra. Despite growing awareness and efforts to curb the practice, it remains deeply rooted in tradition and religious belief, perpetuated by those who claim it is a necessary rite of passage.

Neeraj Singh’s short film aims to bring this hidden reality to the forefront, challenging societal norms and sparking conversations about the rights and dignity of women. The film, which is being produced for the International Film Festival circuit, will also be released on several major OTT platforms, ensuring it reaches a global audience.

In speaking about the project, Neeraj emphasized the importance of exposing the truth and giving a voice to the voiceless. “This is not just a film; it’s a statement against a barbaric practice that has no place in modern society. These women have suffered in silence for too long, and it’s time the world hears their stories,” he said.

By bringing this issue to the screen, Neeraj hopes to inspire change and encourage communities to abandon harmful traditions that violate human rights. His film is not just a condemnation of female circumcision, but also a call to action for society to protect the most vulnerable members—young girls who deserve to grow up free from fear and pain.

The morning of the second day unfolded with an exhilarating start as the semi-finals took the spotlight. This vibrant session featured the much-anticipated introduction round, question and answer round as well as the  talent round, where contestants dazzled with their diverse and remarkable abilities. The semi-finals also included the elegant subtitle crowning ceremony, celebrating individual achievements and special titles.

As evening approached, the grandeur of the pageant continued with the highly anticipated finale. The event showcased a stunning National Costume round, where contestants paraded in elaborate and culturally rich ensembles that highlighted their creativity and heritage. This was followed by the Evening Wear walk, a display of sophistication and style as the contestants glided down the runway in glamorous evening attire. The night culminated in a prestigious awards ceremony, where the pageant’s winner and other distinguished awardees were honored for their outstanding excellence and achievements.

फ़िल्म के निर्माता निर्देशक संजीव आर सिंह डीओपी भी हैं। बतौर सिनेमेटोग्राफर उन्होंने काफी फिल्में की हैं और अब निर्देशक के रूप में इस फ़िल्म से अपनी पारी शुरू करने जा रहे हैं। उनका कहना है कि यह बेहद सिचुएशनल कॉमेडी है जिसमे सभी एक्टर्स ने बड़ी मेहनत और शिद्दत से काम किया है। अशोका ठाकुर वास्तव में डैशिंग स्टार हैं जबकि गंगा ने इसमे नेचुरल एक्टिंग की है।

इस अवसर पर फ़िल्म का ट्रेलर दिखाया गया जिसे सभी ने खूब सराहा। फिर फ़िल्म के तीन गाने दैय्या रे आइटम सॉन्ग, टाइटल सॉन्ग और रोमांटिक गीत दिखाया गया जिसे सभी ने पसन्द किया। रोमांटिक गीत पर हीरो हीरोइन अशोका और गंगा ने बहुत सुंदर डांस प्रस्तुत किया।

फ़िल्म के डैशिंग स्टार अशोका ठाकुर की भी यह पहली पिक्चर है और वह इसको लेकर काफी उत्साहित हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ऎक्ट्रेस गंगा के साथ काम करने का उनका अनुभव बहुत अच्छा रहा। फ़िल्म बेहद हंसाएगी और भरपूर मनोरंजन भी करेगी। संजीव सिंह जी बेमिसाल निर्देशक हैं।

क्षेत्रीय कलाकारों को मौका देने के लिए बनाई गई, फिल्म सतना के पास हुई है शूटिंग

इंदौर. स्थानीय कलाकारों के हुनर को दुनिया के सामने लाने के लिए अविनाश फिल्म्स और मेक्सन बैटरी के बैनर तले कॉमेडी फिल्म ‘कुंवारापुर’ बनाई है। फिल्म के डायरेक्टर राजेंद्र राठौर की यह पहली थियेटर रिलीज फिल्म है, जो 9 अगस्त को सिनेमाघर में आ रही है। फिल्म के मुख्य कलाकार असरानी, विक्रम कोचर, अविनाश तिवारी, अन्नपूर्णा द्विवेदी, गरिमा अग्रवाल, उर्मिला शर्मा के साथ स्थानीय कलाकारों ने भी शानदार अभिनय किया है। फिल्म के निर्माता लक्ष्मण बर्फा है। रतलाम के सैलाना के रहने वाले डायरेक्टर राजेंद्र राठौर मुंबई में काम कर रहे हैं। वह अब तक 50 विज्ञापन फिल्में और 10 म्यूजिक वीडियो के साथ शॉर्ट फिल्म और वेब सीरीज बना चुके हैं। उनके निर्देशन में सोनू सूद, हेमा मालिनी, उर्वशी रौतेला, भाग्यश्री, गौहर खान जैसे कई कलाकार काम कर चुके हैं।

डायरेक्टर राजेंद्र राठौर ने बताया की – अभी तक मध्य प्रदेश का कोई रीजनल सिनेमा नहीं है। इस फिल्म के माध्यम से मालवा और निमाड़ को प्रेजेंट किया है। यह फिल्म मध्य प्रदेश के क्षेत्रीय सिनेमा की शुरुआत है। इस फिल्म के माध्यम से हम स्थानीय कलाकारों को पहचान दिलाना चाहते हैं ताकि इन्हें भी बड़े पर्दे पर काम करने का मौका मिले। मध्य प्रदेश में युवाओं में प्रतिभा की कमी नहीं है लेकिन हर कोई मुंबई जाकर अपना सपना पूरा नहीं कर सकता इसलिए इस क्षेत्र में फिल्म सिटी बनना चाहिए जिससे इन्हें बाहर नहीं जाना पड़े।

फिल्म की एक्ट्रेस अन्नपूर्णा द्विवेदी ने बताया कि – फिल्म की शूटिंग मध्य प्रदेश के सतना के पास उमरिया और खमरिया गांव में की गई है। इसकी भाषा में भी क्षेत्रीय बोली सुनने को मिलेगी। इसे मध्य प्रदेश, छत्तीसगढ़, महाराष्ट्र और उत्तर प्रदेश में रिलीज किया जाएगा। फिल्म के एक्टर अविनाश तिवारी बघेलखंड के सुपरस्टार है, यह पारिवारिक और कॉमेडी फिल्म है जिसमें दहेज प्रथा के खिलाफ संदेश दिया गया है।

फिल्म के एक्ट्रेस अविनाश तिवारी ने बताया कि- कुंवारापुर फिल्म की कहानी एक गांव की है, जहां पिछले 10 सालो से किसी की शादी नहीं हुई है क्योंकि गांव शापित है है। हमारे हीरो पप्पू की गलती से शादी तय हो जाती है और पूरे गांव को बारात में जाना है। इस बात को हास्य के माध्यम से कहानी में पिरोया गया है। दूसरी और फिल्म की नायिका मांगलिक है। उसका विवाह गलती से पप्पू से होता है। दोनों पक्ष एक–दूसरे से अपनी असलियत छिपाते है। यही फिल्म का तानाबाना है।

युवाओं को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए कई तरह के प्रयास किए जाएंगे।

शहरी क्षेत्रों से लेकर आदिवासी क्षेत्रों तक कई प्रगतिशील योजनाएं बनाई गई है जिसे बहुत ही जल्द जमीन पर उतारा जाएगा । भारत विकास आयोग के अंतर्गत समाज के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए स्किल डेवलपमेंट से लेकर अनुसंधान और ज्ञानोदय के लिए नवीनतम सुविधाएं प्रदान करने की कवायत जल्द ही शुरू की जाएगी तथा आयोग  की मुख्य धारणा गम्भीर विचार विमर्श अनुशासन, तार्किक निर्णय, नियमबद्धता और वैचारिक क्रान्ति जैसे पहलुओं से जुड़ी है जिसका  हर कदम राष्ट्र  के तरक्की के लिए होगा।

I am anticipating a favourable year ahead, with markets expected to benefit from sustained consumption and emerging opportunities in the revitalised MSME and Manufacturing sectors.”

Devam Sardana, Business Head, Lemonn, addressed the impact of LTCG and STCG changes on the financial markets, but provided a different viewpoint on the same. He said, “Lot of people asking the impact of STT, STCG and LTCG on the equity market participants but instead of the impact of direct factors, I believe the removal of indexation benefits on real estate, gold etc will have a major impact on the equity markets and participants (and that too a positive one). From a real estate standpoint, I see 3 major things:

1. Secondary market for real estate will be hit as sellers will be unwilling to absorb the full impact of the potential tax increase ( no indexation benefits)
2. Buyers looking for investing in properties ( beyond residential use) will step back a bit. The government recognises this and has therefore “urged” states to reduce the stamp duties
3. Potential cash transactions or share of cash in real estate might increase and this might lead to increased scrutiny of real estate transactions.
4. Overall, this makes real estate as an asset class less attractive compared to pre-Budget rules. Of course, if one is looking to re-invest capital gains from real estate in another property, there is no change for them. With regards to the question on STT, STCG and LTCG, there is minimal impact on the equity markets but when looked at the competitors of equity as an asset class namely gold, real estate – investors can breathe a sigh of relief!”
