A Two Day Korean Cultural Festival 2019 In Mumbai
EventsA two day festival hosted by the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai is coming to Mumbai showcasing South Korea’s rich culture, art and heritage. The event will take place on the 15th and 16th November 2019 at Sophia Bhabha Auditorium, Mumbai between 6.30pm and 8.30pm both days. This two-day event aims to popularize Korean traditional dance, music and food by giving Indians a glimpse of Korean values and tradition.
The event will have a live stage performance by 14 Korean artists from the group called PilbongNongak Preservation Group. PilbongNongak is cultural intangible heritage selected by the Korean government. The group will be performing a re-enactment of Korean traditional culture based on Nongak. The performance will include beautiful traditional Korean dance on folk songs while using traditional instruments; samulnori and many more performances.
The Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Mumbai, H.E. Mr. Dong-young Kim mentioned that through the medium of such cultural events, we want to show the Indian audience our Korean authentic and unique culture. We hope that through the Korean Cultural Festival 2019 and coming events, the relations between India and South Korea would reach next level and their true friendship shine forever.
In addition to this, the festival will have a food sampling booth where Indians can taste rich and delicious Korean food like Kimchi, Dakgangjeong etc.

Indo- American Miss World America WA Shree Saini supports a Drug prevention Fundraiser that raised 1 million dollars
Trending NewsThe 23-year-old Indian American student and anti-bullying activist was crowned Miss World America Washington, and the winner of 5 award at Miss World America 2019. She is known for her anti-bullying social work, now Shree working on raising awareness about sucidice prevention, drug addiction prevention and drug rehabilitation programs.
Shree Saini said, “It is an honor to serve our community. I hope everyone takes the time to go out in their local school, city halls and do their part of improving our world.”
In particular, to solve the drug-addiction epidemic, Shree is working together with organizations on the local, state and national level. Drug overdose takes 129 lives victims every day.
“I am speaking with school students to never start drug experimentation, so they can lead a life free of drug addiction,” Shree Saini said.
Shree Saini took a part of a fundraising gala that helped to fundraise $1,000,000 to prevent deaths from drug overdose. One million was raised, through table sales, a silent and live auction, and individual donations.

बॉलीवुड में इन दिनों रियलिस्टिक सिनेमा का दौर है जहां सच्ची घटनाओं से प्रेरित होकर फिल्मे बनाई जा रही है। अब इसी तरह की एक रियल घटना से इंस्पायर्ड फिल्म बनने जा रही है जिसका नाम है “माया का बदला”। निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली की इस फिल्म का भव्य मुहूर्त पिछले दिनों मुंबई में किया गया जहां फिल्म से जुड़ी पूरी टीम मौजूद थी। ग्रीन वर्ल्ड मीडिया प्रोडकशन के बैनर तले बनने जा रही इस फिल्म को लेकर बी एस अली बेहद उत्साहित हैं। यहां मीडिया से बात करते हुए बी एस अली ने कहा कि इस सस्पेंस थ्रिलर फिल्म की शूटिंग मुंबई में होगी जिसकी शूटिंग दिसम्बर के अंतिम सप्ताह से शुरू होगी और फिल्म को २०२० में रिलीज़ करने का प्लान है।
उन्होंने यहां संवाददाताओं से बात करते हुए कहा की माया का बदला हॉस्टल की कहानी पर बेस्ड है। यहां एक लड़की का मर्डर हो जाता है जिस रूम में कई और लड़कियां भी रहती हैं। इस लड़की की हत्या के बाद राज़ का खेल शुरू होता है। फिल्म दर्शको को बांध कर रखेगी और उन्हें कुछ सोचने पर भी मजबुर करेगी।
इससे पहले फिल्म “लव स्टोरी” प्रोड्युस कर चुके निर्माता निर्देशक बी एस अली ने कहा कि सस्पेंस थ्रिलर होने के बावजूद फिल्म में म्यूज़िक का भी बड़ा स्कोप है और फिल्म में 6 सिचुएशनल गाने हैं जो कहानी को आगे बढ़ाते हैं। फिल्म का संगीत जितेंद्र विश्वकर्मा ने दिया है जबकि एक गीत रिकॉर्ड हो चुका है।

Indywood Distribution Network with Bala’s Theatrical Rights successfully enters the second week of its run in UAE and GCC Countries
IndywoodDubai: It has been a week since the release of Ayushmann Khurrana’s Bala is running successfully in the box-office. The movie continues in a good number of screens in the UAE and other GCC Countries with high occupancy. The film has been well received with positive reviews and praises have been showered upon the actor.
‘Bala’ is Ayushmann’s biggest release till date. The film released across 3000 screens in India and more than 550 screens in the overseas markets.
Indywood Distribution Network owns the distribution rights of the overseas market and is all set to release the movie in Saudi Arabia on 14th November.
Ayushmann Khurrana, who has given 6 consecutive hits, is coming back to the screen after a brief break with Bala. The actor will be joined by two of his phenomenal co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and YamiGautam.
Actors Seema Pahwa and Javed Jaffrey also play a pivotal role in the film. Bala attempts to take a satirical twist on a middle-aged man suffering from hair receding through slapstick comedy.
Bhumi will play his love interest in the film. Helmed by director Amar Kaushik, the movie is produced by Dinesh Vijan.

NewsRaju Mavani the Lion hearted actor filmmaker, who launched Suniel Shetty in film’s with Balwaan in 1992, passed away on Thursday 31st October 2019, at around 7.30 pm, due to Cancer. He was 62 years old.
Mavani was suffering from kidney ailments and was later diagnosed with cancer. He fought for three year’s before succumbing to the disease.
Apart from producing films like Ilaaka, Ramgarh Ke Sholey, Balwan and Imtihaan, with Mithun Chakraborty, Suniel Shetty, Sunny Deol, Saif Ali Khan, Aditya Pancholi, Raveena Tondon, late Divya Bharti, Monika Bedi, Divya Dutta & many other’s. Raju Mavani also directed film Suraksha, produced by his brother Nitin Navami. Raju also acted in several movies like Sarkar, Wanted, Shootout At Wadala and Policegiri to name a few.

फतेहपुर के गायक और कलाकार नीरज तिवारी वैसे रहते तो मायानगरी मुंबई में हैं मगर वह होली और दिवाली अपने शहर और जिले में ही मनाते है। दीपों के पर्व दीवाली के अवसर पर वह फतेहपुर गए थे और उन्होंने वहां निहाल जी के द्वारा एक्सीलरेटेड लर्निंग कैंप में पढ़ रहे दिव्यांग मूक बधिर नेत्री बच्चों को टिफिन बॉक्स लड्डू समोसा और दिवाली का तोहफा दिया। इससे उन बच्चो के चेहरे पे मुस्कान खिल गई लेकिन नीरज तिवारी के लिए भी यह कार्य अपने दिल को एक इत्मीनान पहुंचाने वाला काम था। उन्होंने यहां सभी बच्चों के उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना की। इस मौके पर उन्होंने ऐसे बच्चो की हौसला अफजाई करते हुए कहा कि आप तमाम बच्चे अपने आप में स्पेशल हो। दुनिया का हर बच्चा या हर व्यक्ति खास होता है, उसके पास अवश्य ही कुछ ऐसा हुनर ऐसी प्रतिभा होती है जो उसे दूसरों से अलग बनाती है। इसलिए कभी अपनी एक खामी को अपनी शख्सियत की कमजोरी ना समझें बल्कि उसे ही अपनी प्रेरणा बनाकर जीवन और दुनिया में आगे बढ़ने का संकल्प लें तो कुछ भी असम्भव नहीं है। दुनिया भर में बहुत सी ऐसी मिसालें मिल जाएंगी जिन लोगों ने अपने अंदर मौजूद कुछ शारीरिक खामियों के बावजूद कुछ बड़ा कारनामा अंजाम दिया है।

The song has done exceptionally well and has now touched 9.8 million views on youtube.
The young choreographer is now looking forward to choreograph Arjun Kanungo again for the MTV Buzz awards night. Saurabh said, “I first met and got a chance to choreograph Arjun at the Femina Miss India Subcontest Award Show. Right after that, Hona Chaida happened and I am absolutely loving the response people are showing. No I will be back, choreographing the stage act for Arjun at the MTV Buzz Awards night. Choreographing for stage shows is a lot of fun especially when you are working with great artists. This one is going to be bigger and I am looking forward to see Arjun perform live on stage to my steps.”
He added saying, “I’m glad that everyone is loving the choreography by following our hook step and making dance covers for the same. I have done many projects and have worked with different personalities- actors, singers, cricketers, models.”
Talking about upcoming projects, He said, “Something interesting is on the way for which I am very excited. Also I will be travelling alot across the globe for my workshops where I conduct master class lessons.”
The 20 year old choreographer has earlier worked on various music videos for Zee Music, Vyrls Originals, One Diigtal, Times Music and has also worked on many dance reality shows.

The movie revolves around an orthodox South Indian lady, Indu, who lands up in Bangkok and had to spend time with her gay son’s partner. It stars a blend of International as well as Indian actors including Gurfateh Singh Pirzada, who will soon be seen in Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra’. The other cast includes Ashlin Harris and Shreedevi Chowdary, who is also the producer of the film.
Making her debut at the age of 47, Shreedevi Chowdary, who hails from Hyderabad says, “I am proud to be associated with such a universal subject which can bring about a revolution in the world. Though it’s my first stint as an actor I am happy and confident that the film will do wonders. Playing Indu was a challenge and I observed a couple of middle aged women around me. The emotional touch between a mom and a son is inevitable.”
Swati Sanghi believes that the subject is extremely universal and people across the world can relate to it. Adds Amit Khanna, “The film is first of its kind and we are hoping it leaves a mark on audiences.” Friends In Law was premiered at the Cannes last year and received a great response.

एक म्यूज़िक वीडियो एल्बम के पोस्टर लॉन्च का एक इवेंट कुछ अलग किस्म का था! ड्रिंक्स और डिनर के साथ सितारों से सजी यह कोई भव्य पार्टी नहीं थी। बल्कि यह अल्बिनो बीमारी के बारे में जागरूकता पैदा करने के लिए थी जो मानव शरीर और मानव आत्मा को प्रभावित करती है। इस गैर-व्यावसायिक एल्बम में मुख्य किरदार एक 7 साल की स्कूल जाने वाली अल्बिनो से ग्रस्त बच्ची सैयना शाह है जो इस कार्यक्रम में शामिल नहीं हो सकी क्योंकि केन्या में उसके दादा ठीक नहीं थे (उसने एक प्यारा संदेश भेजा था)। इस एल्बम में इस विशेष बच्ची द्वारा गाए गए आइकॉनिक मूवी टाइटैनिक का गीत माई हार्ट ..’ है। जिसे मुंबई के गोराई बीच में खूबसूरती से फिल्माया गया है! जब उस बच्ची ने शहर का दौरा किया था।
पहले कुछ प्रोजेक्ट कर चुके अभिनेता रामेश्वर सिंह उर्फ रामा ने इस एल्बम का निर्माण और निर्देशन किया है। को प्रोड्यूसर मिनाकुमारी पटेल भी यहां मौजूद थीं। जहां रामा ने वीडियो एल्बम की शूटिंग की चुनौतियों का वर्णन किया, जिसमें सैयना के साथ शूटिंग के बारे में बताया जो एल्बिनो से प्रभावित हैं क्योंकि उनकी त्वचा सूर्य की किरणों के प्रति बहुत संवेदनशील होती है।
“वह एक वंडर चाइल्ड है, लेकिन एक असली विशेष बच्ची है। उसने अपने रोल को बहुत अच्छी तरह से और पेशेवर रूप से निभाया, जिसे एल्बम में ही देखा जा सकता है।” बेहद खुश-दिखने वाले राम ने कहा।
इस अवसर पर मीना कुमारी ने बताया कि कैसे यह म्यूज़िक एल्बम एक सकारात्मक जागरूकता फैलाएगा कि एल्बिनो एक बच्चे की भावना को नहीं बांध सकता है और जीवन में किसी के विकास के लिए एक बाधा नहीं है।”

International NewsPursuing the vision of growth and development of Panamanian, President Mr. Laurentino Cortizo’s, a Panamanian delegation under the guidance of Mr. Ramon E Martinez, Minister for Commerce and Industries, Republic of Panama, today in its historical Panamanian delegation met at World Trade Centre, Mumbai on October 29 at 3:30 PM.
The program named as Panama Meets India is supported by Panama’s Honorable Ambassador in India, Mr. Ricardo Berna. The delegation of Republic of Panama consisted of Mr. Richard Kilborn – National Investment Director, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Republic of Panama and Punjabi Panamanian Mr. Hardeep Bhullar, Director, Marketing Investment and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industries, Panama.
Ms. Rupa Naik, Senior Director, World Trade Center, Mumbai open the session with her the Welcome remarks followed by presentation on Trade & Investment by Mr. Raj Kumar Sharma, President ILAC.
In his Special address to the meet Mr. Richard Kilborn said that international trade has changed tremendously and is perfected by introduction and application of IT enabled services in each and every field of trade. Indian business can now cater the Latin American region with their products and supplies across central America through Panama as it houses the world’s most advance Port facilities, Trade free zone, SEZ’s, Logistic support facilities, with better shipping containers and supertanker. Due to the advances in transportation, technology and geo-political relations, Indian companies can now maximize and expand their potential in ways that wouldn’t have been possible in the past.
Panama government efforts are supported by monetary and fiscal policies designed to improve the enabling environment. He further added Panama is one of the most stable and fastest growing economies in Latin America.
Mr. Hardeep Bhullar, who have been visiting different parts of India appreciating the economic energy and dynamism spoke on issue pertaing to Investment opportunity, promotion of bilateral relations with due emphasis on Logistics, Financial and Banking relation, IT enabled services, Tourism, Media and Entertainment, Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, business opportunities and policy perspective of Panama. He discussed how Indian companies can also work towards leveraging the opportunities arising from the growth in high demand for IT products and services within the Central American region as Panama is commercial hub of the Central America and how Panama -United States Trade Promotion.
Agreement further gives direct access to market of USA as an investor in Panama. Apart, Panama has Preferential Trade Agreement and / or Free Trade Agreements with almost all the Latin American countries, USA, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile.
The convener and coordinator of this meet, Mr. Prabhakar Sharan, Vice President (Indo Latin America Chamber of Commerce, Panama, Central America) an eminent Educationalist, Entrepreneur, Actor and Producer, who since last 15 years had been significant in developing relation between India & Latin American countries informed that owing to its competitive advantage in the sector, pharmaceutical products have also emerged as one of India’s main exports to LAC, accounting for nearly 3.3 percent of the region’s imports. Some Indian pharma companies have also set up manufacturing units in the region. Besides supplying to the local markets, these units also export to the US and other countries outside the region. Such mutually beneficial arrangements increase revenues for Indian firms, help develop cost-competitive healthcare services in the LAC region, and also lead to export of low-cost generic drugs from the region to other geographies. He further added that Governments of Latin America, including Panama have opened up their markets and reduced import tariffs. They are privatizing their state enterprises. They are according priority to the modernization/improvement of existing infrastructure and creation of new infrastructure, mega-engineering projects, energy projects, and IT & ITES, in which Indian companies have earned international reputation. He also added in Information Technology sector, Indian IT firms are also establishing business partnerships in LAC countries. The region has a huge pool of multi-lingual, cost-effective professionals which Indian companies are leveraging for a near-shore business model. Under this model, Indian companies use the units in the region for providing services to their North American clients for 12 hours from the same time zone, and the remaining 12 hours from India.
Indian companies can work towards leveraging the opportunities arising from the growth in demand for IT products and services within the region. He also added that trade with Panama gain more significance as US Dollar has legally circulated in Panama and in practice, the USD is used in day-to-day transaction, which is also legal tender.

Shwetha has made her country proud by winning this crown which has paved a path to make her dreams a reality. She proudly represented India at an International Pageant “Mrs Worldwide “ which was held in Singapore during Oct 2019 and 38 Countries across the world participated.
She is also a Brand Ambassador of Reach4Cause connecting 4500 NGO’s across the globe. As a social activist, she is involved in teaching dance to children that are differently-abled with the intention to bring some joy into their life.
She comes from a humble background and blessed with an amazing family. Morality is the foundation of her principles in life and her family is her highest priority. She has pushed herself through several obstacles in life and she can confidently say that She is proud of who she is . Her life goal is to inspire and motivate women who have lost faith in their existence and build their confidence to achieve greatness in thier own definition and be independent. She is a passaionate dancer with a charming personality.
Her Journey starts by Winning Mrs Karnaraka during Feb 2018 held in Bangalore and then represented Karnataka at National pageant and won Mrs India IMP during Dec 2018 held at Jaipur and recently to the 3rd stage of internationals Mrs Worldwide 2019 organized in Singapore has been a great success
I am thankful to Mrs. Justina Quek the International Director and Mrs Jazpreet Kaur the National Director for giving me this great lifetime opportunity. And also not forgetting I would like to thank my parents, my sister and my son who have been always supportive and been my back bone and making me who I am today.
