मुंबई – तनु वेड्स मनु की पापुलर सिंगर स्वाति शर्मा ने दी आवाज, फिल्म के निर्माता बीके जैन ने कहा मां बाप का घर कोई धर्मशाला नहीं,  इसी सब्जेक्ट को लेकर श्रीपार्श्व फिल्म एंड टीवी प्रोडक्शन बैनर तले बनने जा रही फिल्म ओन्ली अरेंज मैरिज का आगाज आज लता मंगेशकर स्टूडियो में हुआ, प्रोड्यूसर बी के जैन ने बताया हमारे राजस्थान के रानी जंक्शन पर अभी हाल ही में एक बड़ा हादसा हुआ, एक परिवार की बेटी ने लव मैरिज कर ली और मां-बाप को बिना बताए घर से भाग गई यह तो आम बात है ।

लेकिन इसके पीछे जो हादसा हुआ वह मेरे मन को जक्जोर के रख दिया और पूरे राजस्थान को हिला के रख दिया, घर से भागने वाली लड़की के मां बाप इस अत्यंत पीड़ा को झेल नहीं पाए, और दोनों ट्रेन के आगे कूद कर अपनी जान गवा दी, जिस बेटी को बड़े लाड प्यार से  पाल-पोस्कर बड़ा किया था वह बेटी मां-बाप का अंतिम बार चेहरा तक देखने नहीं आई, क्या मां-बाप इसीलिए होते हैं कि अपने बेटे बेटियों की चिंता करते रहे और बेटा बेटी अपने झूठे प्यार को पाने के लिए, एक मां और पिता के सच्चे लाड प्यार को यूं तोड़ कर चले जाना यह समाज के लिए अत्यंत की घातक है,और बड़ी पीड़ा दायक घटना से प्रेरित होकर मैंने एक सब्जेक्ट को सोचा है और वह सब्जेक्ट है ऑनली अरेंज मैरिज, ताकि समाज को मां-बाप के प्रति घर के प्रति एक विश्वास होना चाहिए और बेटी को लगना चाहिए कि मेरे लिए मां-बाप कभी बुरा नहीं सोच सकते, फिल्म परिवारिक कहानी की है एक दूसरे के साथ रहते रहते प्यार कब हो जाता है इसी को हमने इस फिल्म में दर्शाया जायेगा ।

फिल्म के डायरेक्टर एस पी निंबावत हैं, फिल्म का म्यूजिक बॉलीवुड के जाने-माने म्यूजिक डायरेक्टर प्रवीण भारद्वाज का लिया है, फिल्म के पहलें गाने मैं आवाज अवार्डेड सिंगर स्वाति शर्मा ने दी है, उसके बाद पामेला जैन व युवी और शंकर भट्टाचार्य  और दो अन्य नामचीन सिंगरों की आवाज हमने इस फिल्म में लेनी है, वही निर्माता जैन बताया अच्छी फोटोग्राफी के लिए साउथ के कैमरामैन संतोष को लिया, है, फिल्म के लाइन प्रोड्यूसर कलीम अख्तर है, जिन्होंने  अबतक 14 फिल्में बनाई है, कोरियोग्राफर मास्टर बलराज व नरेंद्र करेंगे, फिल्म के casting director- R sparsh kharkhodi ने की है, फिल्म के एजुकेशयू  प्रोड्यूसर दीपक अबोटी हैं।

It’s that divine time of the year when not only Bengalis but people across communities eagerly welcome Maa Durga in all her glory and seek her blessings and thank her for whatever she has blessed them with over the previous years. For the past three years Durgotsav has been organised by Aikatan Cultural Association Mumbai and has been the centre of attraction for the worshippers of Maa Durga. The association has been organising Durga Puja at The Country Club which is situated at Veera Desai Road Andheri West.

Notably, the biggest attraction of Durgotsav 2023 is well known music director Pritam Chakroborty, who is also the chief patron of the Durga Puja organised by the Aikatan  Cultural Association Mumbai. He and his family are deeply involved in planning and organising the Puja since its inception.

The association has an amazing musical rendezvous lined up on all the days of Durga Puja (Bollywood singer Anwesshaa on Mahashoshti, leading folk song band Surojit o Bondhura on Mahashtami and Natok by famous group from Kolkata, Parnasree Bohumukhi Cultural Society on Mahanabami). In addition, the members and their children also  showcase their musical talent on Mahasaptami , which is surely going to make the entire event a memorable one.

It is interesting to know that Aikatan Cultural Association Mumbai is not only known to organise the much talked about Durga Puja at The Country Club, but it is also one of those associations which is also deeply involved in the philanthropic work and always ready to help needy people in various forms. Thousands of beneficiaries are testimony to the facts the association has always been at the forefront to help the poorest of poor and marginalised communities.

Somali Sarkar, one of the founding members of Aikatan Cultural Association said “The association strongly believes that there are many in society who would need a helping hand. Our resources are limited but we do our best to help and a portion of our Association’s fund is kept aside to extend financial help to the needy. This year, we have partnered with ‘Artistic Hands’ which is a vocational training centre for children with special needs. Talking about ‘Gram Bangla’ Somali Sarkar said, “This year the theme of our Durga Puja Pandal is Bengal folk art though which we are portraying the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. We are emphasising on ‘Gram Bangla’ which  means rural Bangla which has always been rich in its cultural endeavors. The nostalgia of Bengal folk art is on full display and people visiting the Pandal are just loving it.”

The Puja was inaugurated by none than Swami Satyadevanada, Adhyaksha Of Ramkrishna Math, Mumbai. During the Durga Puja, apart from the common worshippers of Maa Durga, many dignitaries from various walks of life are also gracing the Durga Puja Pandal and getting all the  blessings during the mesmerizing Durgotsav organised by Aikatan Cultural Association Mumbai. A few names till now are famous Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan, actors Manish Wadhwa, Pallavi Chatterjee and Shakuntala Barua.

गायक ऋषभ ने बताया कि यह गीत काफी सूफियाना मिजाज का है। मैंने गायकी और संगीत की तालीम हासिल की है। मैं डायरेक्टर सुमित रंजन का आभारी हूं कि उन्होंने मुझसे यह काम बहुत अच्छे ढंग से करवा लिया।”

Acclaimed filmmaker Mr. Ram Gopal Varma unveiled the first look posters and trailers of the film “On the Road.” He praised the stunning visual mood and slick look, congratulating the team for their hard work and expressing his best wishes for its success. The film is directed by Mr. Surya Lakkoju, who has collaborated on multiple projects with Mr. Ram Gopal Varma in the past.

Director Surya Lakkoju expressed his fondness for the Western film genre and chose to narrate a simple story within the limitations of his resources, against the breathtaking landscapes of the Ladakh valley.

The male protagonist, Raghav Tiwari, shared his challenges in portraying a complex character, emphasizing his meticulous approach to bringing the role to life, resulting in a satisfying output.

The female lead, Swati Mehra, expressed her excitement about her first film experience, beautifully shot in Ladakh. Despite tough filming conditions with low oxygen levels, she faced health issues during the climax scenes. After seeing the final output, she eagerly anticipates the audience’s reception.

Mr. Ravi Singh, who played a pivotal character, says, “Working on ‘On the Road’ was very different from the other movies I have done earlier. Since there was no bounded script, we developed most of the script on location through rehearsals and improvisation. Although we enjoyed the process, we are anxiously looking forward to a positive reception.

The film is produced under the banner of ‘SPL Pictures’ by Mr. Surya Lakkoju and co-produced by Mr. Rajesh Sharma. It is written and directed by Surya Lakkoju, with cinematography by Gifty Mehra and music by Surbhit Manocha. the production team clarifies, The first copy of the film is ready, and the censor work is in process.

Film trade journalist turned film maker, Rajeev Chaudhari, went into his memory lane and expressed his experiences during production of his films, with Sunny Leone (‘Beiimaan Love’), and with Krushna Abhishek (‘Fire of love RED’).

“Sunny Leone ‘s best performance has been in my film ‘Beiimaan Love’! She used to rehearse the lines a lot and was always ready on the sets, and even today when I watch my film, ‘Beiimaan Love’, I feel so elated seeing her performance in the film and feel all the more thankful and gratified when viewers request me to make a sequel to ‘Beiimaan Love’.

Sunny Leone is no less than any big star of today.” affirmed Rajeev!

When asked about whether she was easy to manage while working on the sets of ‘Beiimaan Love’, Rajeev very happily answered, ”Once Sunny Leone is on board of a film then she is fully immersed into her character and she goes out of her way to work on her looks, costumes etc. I wish her all the best for everything!”

When asked about why Sunny Leone was not repeated as a heroine in Rajeev’s current film ‘Fire of love RED’, Rajeev explained, “I had given the job of direction of my film ‘Fire of love RED’ to my old friend Ashok Tyagi and he liked Payal Ghosh as the heroine opposite Krushna Abhishek and therefore Sunny is not there in this film.”

When asked about Rajeev’s experience with Krushna Abhishek in ‘Fire of Love RED”, Rajeev beamingly replied, “Krushna Abhishek is a golden hearted human being and a great performer – he is totally different in ‘Fire of love RED’ as he plays an angry young man – a psycho killer! Imagine the comedian, laughing entertainer Krushna Abhishek playing a ‘la Amitabh’ type of character without any smile or comedy! Krushna has excelled in our film ‘Fire of love RED’!”

When asked about the rumors of Krushna not co operating with promotions of ‘Fire of love RED’, Rajeev clarified “Krushna Abhishek has loved every frame of ‘Fire of love RED’ and is very much excited and keen to promote our film, but he wants to do it right at the right time – just about ten days before the release date and I agree with him and am not bothered with the gossips about it!”

Indian Institute of Fashion Technology, conducted its 20th Fashionite 2023, a unique Annual Fashion Show in which their talented 78 designers unleashed around 131 creative ensembles which were displayed by 20 sizzling models on a specially designed ramp at the Chowdiah Memorial Hall, Bangalore, in front of a jam packed audience on the evening of 4th  October,2023. The show started with the lighting of lamp.

Mrs.Manjula Harish, Principal of IIFT welcomed the chief guests, esteemed members, respectful parents, energetic and enthusiastic academic trainers, students and the world of print media and electronic media.

The audience encouraged each designer with roaring applause & excitement as the models walked down the ramp showcasing the designs, followed by all the designers making an entry along the models on the ramp. There was a look of pride, confidence & anxiousness in the face of the designers when there were showing their designs in front of the 1000 plus crowd consisting of their friends, relatives & family as well as fashion industry delegates.

The jury shortlisted 15 finalists out of 78 participants which were based on jury criteria such as justice to the theme, swatch selections, color aesthetics, innovation in silhouettes , presentation of collections with accessories, detailing in ornamentation, styling and originality.

The themes of the show included Futuristic Fashion, Handloom, Mythical, Zero Waste, Paddy fields, Tribal art as well as many other interesting themes. The colours used indicated various messages to the audience. The fabrics used were mixed of wearable and non wearable and ranged from Pure silk weaving with indian traditional motifs, Jute rice bags, Organza, Satin cotton, Glaze cotton, Linen, Velvet, Chiffon, Georgette, Brocades, Netted fabrics & many more fabrics that are in trend, some of the garment designs were highly accessorized with headgears, Handmade jewelleries, bags & some of the designs had highly intricate embellishment and surface ornamentation  such as Zardozi work, Macrame, Aari work, traditional Indian embroideries, hand painting & printing were incorporated to present trends combining the materials from different state.

Each design had a story to tell. A story which stole the heart and soul of all the audience. It was visual communication which personified the audience.

The audience sat spell bound by the magic of the stories one after the other as all 78 designers showcased their innovative fashion extravagance of collections.

At the end of the show all the designers were presented with Prestigious IIFT mementos and certificates in recognition of their hard work and immense

Awards were given for categories such as,  IIFT Best Designer of the Year 2023 , Best Designer Award in B.Sc Fashion & Apparel Design, ‘BEST DESIGNER-NON TEXTILE’, Best Designer Award in Fashion Designing and Boutique Management, Best Collection and Best Theme.

The audience were mesmerized and delighted by the display of creativity that were displayed by their wards and loved ones. The show promised a royal, joyful, soothing treat for sore eyes with designers, models and International and National Celebrities from different parts of the fashion world who witnessed this fashion extravaganza of Indian Institute of Fashion Technology 20th Annual Fashion show FASHIONITE 2023.

Yash (Krishna) Ramkishor Rajgarhia is a great devotee of Lord Ganesha and he has been placing Ganpati Bappa in his house for the last 14 years. His specialty is that he does not immerse the idol of Ganeshji but has been keeping the idol in his house for 14 years and behind this he has deep devotion towards Ganeshji. He says that once Bappa comes to the house, he does not feel like sending him away. On the day of Anant Chaturthi, after worshiping Lord Ganesha as per rituals, the idol is covered after taking a dip in water mixed with Ganga Jal and then after Diwali, the idol of Lord Ganesha is kept in the house.

Ganpati Bappa idol has been placed by the Mumbaicha Mahasamrat for the 14th year this year. And yash (Krishna) has installed the idol with an unique theme this year. In this, his father Ram Kishor and mother Anita Rajgarhia also had full support.

Yash (Krishna) Ramkishor Rajgarhia while interacting with the media at his house said that this is the tallest idol of Ganeshji present in any house in the whole Maharashtra which is 8 feet high. The idol of Ganpati Bappa has been made on the trolley.

Krishna told that with Bappa’s arrival there is brightness everywhere. There is an atmosphere of joy and happiness, many people come to meet and seek blessings of Bappa. I myself have great enthusiasm to see Bappa all over Mumbai, I go to many places and take blessings of Bappa. I wish that Bappa gives a healthy life to me, my family and the entire country including Mumbai and Maharashtra, health is the greatest wealth.

*London, September 21, 2023* – Dr. Abdul Basit Syed, an India-born founder of the International NGO “WORLD HUMANITARIAN DRIVE,” was bestowed with the prestigious ‘Freedom of the City of London’ Award. This honor recognizes his exceptional dedication to fostering UK-India relations and making a lasting impact on the fields of education, humanitarianism, and trade on a global scale.
The ceremony, steeped in centuries-old tradition, took place at the Chamberlain’s Court at Guildhall in London on September 18, 2023. This honor, dating back to the year 1237, symbolizes more than just a title—it carries with it certain responsibilities associated with the Lord Mayor’s office.
Dr. Abdul Basit Syed has long championed the cause of global humanitarianism, considering individuals like him as torchbearers for a harmonious society. His organization, ‘WHD,’ has initiated numerous peace and educational events, including “Trade 4 Peace,” “The Science Bazaar,” and “World Moral Day.”
“The Science Bazaar” in Chennai, India, held on March 6th and 7th, 2020, showcased 834 groundbreaking innovations and gadgets designed to support differently-abled individuals worldwide, showcasing India’s unique innovations.
“Trade 4 Peace” focuses on promoting global economic integration and businesses as a pathway to peace, working closely with leaders, dignitaries, and prominent speakers from over 25 countries to support India’s sustainable development goals.
Dr. Abdul Basit Syed’s initiatives have garnered the support of esteemed patrons, including RT. Hon.
